In 1969, Jean Le Méliner choose La Grande Metairie, an old 15 hectare Breton farm, to create a camping and caravaning site in Carnac.
The gentle climate, the nearby beaches, ad the magnificient standing stones all made a marvellous setting for this creation in the heart of the countryside.
Thoughout the years constant care has been taken to ensure that new additions such as bars, a restaurant, a grocery shop and a boutique all fit in with this environment and atmosphere. His sons have continued the adventure until 2003.
Since 2004, Pierre-Yves and Chrystelle Airiaud are continuing this tradition of comfort in order to deserve the privilege of welcoming your here.
