Central Laundry Area : new for 2008
This is situated alongside the Toilet Block (Sanitaire) N° 1, and is open between 9 a.m & 9 p.m.
It is equipped with professional quality washing and drying machines, which are operated by Euro coins.
Behind each Toilet block building are basins for hand washing, each with hot and cold running water.
There are ironing boards inside the Central Laundry area.
Irons may be hired from Reception (1€, deposit 10€)
Price for washing machine : 5€
Prince for drying machine : 3€
The Toilet blocks
Three toilet blocks (sanitaires) are placed about the campsite.
They are over 24 hours a day, and are kept in proper order by a team of cleaners for your peace of mind.
Chemical toilets
Special places to empty and clean chemical toilets are available for your use behind each Toilet Block.
Bicycles hire
Open from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.,
between the 17th. May and the 5th.September 2008.
From the 22th march to the 16th may, you can rent a bike when you phone to Jean-Pierre (00 33 (0)2 97 24 52 92
A choice of types for all, from the very small up to adults.The cost varies with the size chosen, and the length of hire. Arrange all with Jean-Pierre (from 25 euros by week)
Motor home facilities
This Service Point is situated at the campsite entrance, the charges are shown.
Price : 6€
It is free to clients of the campsite.
Telephone
There are several telephone boxes on the site; 2 beside the Reception, 2 by the ponies’ enclosure and 1 by the South entrance gate.
These may not all be in service outside the high season.
Rubbish
The rubbish bins are situated behind wooden fencing panels at both campsite entries.
You are urged to respect the sorting of your rubbish (plastic containers, glass bottles, cartons, papers……).
Medical assistance
We attach a notice showing the out of hours services in the locality of Doctors, Chemists and private Ambulances.
For the safety of children and adults, the Grande Métairie Resort has acquired a defibulator heartstart. In case of emergency, we can intervene very quickly before the arrival of the emergency services.
Extract from the campsite rules
Departures:
If you intend to leave before 8.30am, we ask that you pay the day before.
Silence :
Please be considerate to your neighbours and avoid loud conversations and noisy radios. We ask that you keep quiet and respect others 11.30pm and 7am.
Visitors :
They must ask permission at the reception before entering the site. It is your responsability to ensure your guests abide by the campsite regulations. For visits, the price is : 4€ by person.
Ball games are only permitted ont the recreation areas.
It is forbidden to drive vehicules within the grounds of the campsite, between the hours of 11pm to 7am.
The entry barriers are closed during te same hours. If you intend to leave the campsite before 8am, it is necessary to leave your vehicule in the carpark at the main entrance of the site.
Speed limit : 10km/h.
Please drive slowly around the campsite and pay particular attention for children running out of an emplacement.
Dogs :
at all times must be kept on a lead and you should ensure that the do not disturb other campers. We you go for a walk with your dog, please mind keeping the campsite's grass areas clean. The price for an animal is 4€ per day.
Parking is only allowed on the designated pitch or in the carpark. Charge for extra car.
SECURITY :
Health and security :
If you are a doctor or member of the medical profession, we would be most grateful if you would give your pitch number to the reception. This will only be used in cases of extreme emergency. Thank you.
Emergency services
Each week-end we place, on the door of the reception, the name and telephone numbers of doctor, chemist and ambulance services that can be used in a emergency.
Bicycles :
For security reasons, we would be most grateful if you would use the roads of the campsite and not the footpaths. Also remember to keep to the right and respect tlhe speed limit.
Electricity :
For safety reasons, all our electrical installations are protected by very sensitive dirupteurs switches. Therefore, the use of heavy duty electrical equipment will not be possible.
ATTENTION :
To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to remind you of the following poinds :
- Children and teenagrs are always under the responsability of their parents
- The selling, carrying and drinking alcohol is forbidden under the age of 18
- The management reserve the right to penalize or evict any family whose children cause domage or disturbance of the peace day or night.
