In the heart of the Gulf, two islands can be visited : the Ile d'Artz and the Ile aux Moines
Ile aux Moines
619 inhabitants - 310 hectares - 6 Km long
The Island in the best-known and most densely populated in the Gulf.
Laid out in the form of a cross, the Ile aux Moines offers you a great number of hikes and bicycle rides to take.
With one-storey fishemen's houses and beautiful granite houses, the residential areas on this island are a real pleasure to see. The luxurious and half-wild vegetation, as well as its great variety of landscapes, make up the charm of this island, nicknamed "The Pearl of the Gulf".
Ile d'Arz
231 inhabitants - 324 hectares - 5 km long
This island, rural and a lush green, is surrounded by indentations in the coastline, creating a large number of beaches.
The island's greatest asset is the superb coastal path allowing you to make a complete tour around it, stopping at will to gaze upon the Gulf's stunning panoramas.
