Mobile-home rentals, practical questions

 

Upon receipt of your booking request form accompanied by the corresponding deposit, and depending on our availabilities, we will send you a booking confirmation.

If there are no availabilities for the requested period, your deposit will be returned.

On arrival, you will have to show your booking corfirmation to the reception.

 

Accomodation

The reserved pitch will be available from 5.00pm  on the day of arrival and should be vacated on the scheduled departure date before 10.00am.

The equipment in each accomodation is listed on an inventory.

A deposit of 200€ wil be asked upon arrival. This deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay once the inventory has been checked, with deduction made in case of material domaged or lost, also for extra cleaning fees if the accommodation is not left in a good condition of cleanliness. 

If the inventory can not be checked during the office opening hours, the deposit will be returned to you by post. 

 

The client is responsable for the cleaning of the accommodation. At the end of your stay, the accommodation and the surrounding areas should be returned in a perfectly clean and undamaged state.

I this is not the case, the client is charged for a cleaning fee of minimum 60€.

 

Dogs, cats and other domestic animals are allowed exceptionnally in our accomodations, for 4€ per day.

 

Deposit required :

25% of the total amount, in euros.

 

Balance :

payment 75% of the total amount of your stay in euros, at the latest 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If this delay is not respected, the rental contract will be considered as cancelled by the client.

No reduction in case of cash payment or payment in advance.

There will be no refund in case of delayed arrival or earlier departure.

 

Cancellation costs :

- 10% of the total amount if cancellation tackes place more than 2 months prior to the schedulded arrival date

- 25% of the total amount if cancellation takes place between 1 and 2 months prior to the schedulded arrival date

- 100% of the total amount if cancellation takes place less than 1 month prior to the schedulded arrival date.

 

Our prices do not include a cancellation insurance. We recommend you consult your insurance company.

 

Campsite regulations :

The undersigned and the people concerned by this contract as well as their guests (4€/guest/day), commit to respect the Campsite regulations.

 

The present terms and conditions updated 16/11/07 cancel and replace all previously issued terms and conditions.

 

 

 

Campsite rules

            1. 1. Conditions of admission

No admission or setting up on a pitch is allowed without the prior autorisation of the reception.

When staying on the camping “ La Grande Métairie”, it means that you are willing to accept the current regulations and that you will comply with them.

Any breaking of these rules may lead to expulsion of the offender, by police force if necessary.

2. Police formalities

Every person staying at least one night on the campsite must show his identity-papers at the receptiondesk and carry out the police formalities 

3. Pitch rules

The tent, caravan and other camping equipment must be installed on the pitch allocated by the reception.

4. Reception

Open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until June, and to 8:00 p.m. in July and August.

At the reception information is provided about all campsite facilities including shop, bar, restaurant, recreation areas, organised activities and local siteseeing. Also books containing many useful addresses.

5. Charges

Charges are to be paid at the reception. The amount is fixed according to the prices displayed. They are payable according to the number of nights spent on the site, from midday to midday.

When campers intend to leave the camp, they are asked to inform the reception the day before their departure. If the campers want to leave before the reception office is open, they must pay their charges the day before.

6. Noise and silence

Campers are asked to avoid noise and discussion which may disturb their neighbours, and to turn down radio, transistors, tape or cassette-recorders. Please close car doors and boots quietly.

Dogs and other animals are only allowed if on a leash. They can’t be left in the camp even locked in, when their owners are absent.

Complete silence between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

7. Visitors

Visitors are allowed but their hosts are responsible for them. If visitors are staying for more than one hour, a charge is made according to the regulations.

8. Car traffic and carpark

Inside the camp the speed limit is 10 km/h.

Only campers staying on the campsite can drive inside the campsite. Parking must not disrupt traffic flow or newcommers setting up.

9. The upkeep and look of the campsite facilities

Do respect the tidiness and hygiene of the camp. Don’t throw dirty water on the ground or in the gutters.

Caravaners must dispose of their waste water at the appropriate places.

Put all household refuse into the refuse bins provided behind each toilet block.

No washing is allowed outside the appropriate sinks. The washing can be hung up near the tents and caravans until 10:00 a.m., providing it does not bother the neighbours.

Do take care of trees, plants and flowers.

A camper is not allowed to drive nails into the trees, to cut branches or plants.

Do not temper with the natural/non made limits of your pitch. Do not dig into the ground.

Any damage done to plants, fences, equipment or campsite amenity must be paid for by the offender.

10. Security

a) Fire

Open fires are prohibited. Please see the notices regarding barbecues.

Cooking apparatus must be in excellent condition. Fire extinguishers are at everybody’s disposall. In case of fire, inform the campmanager immediately.

A first aid oufit is available at the reception.

b) Theft

The camp management is only responsible for articles commited to the care of the reception office. Please inform the campmanager of the presence of any suspect person. Though the campsite is guarded, campers are expected to take care of their belongings.

11. Games

Ball games, etc are only allowed in appropriate recreation areas. The common room can only be used for quiet games.

12. Unoccupied tents and caravans

Unoccupied tents or caravans should not be left on the campsite without approval of the camp manager and only on the space indicated. When caravans or tents are left permanently on the site, a charge is made to the amount on which is indicated at the reception.

13. Campmanager

He must maintain order and discipline in the camp. It is his duty to penalize the people who break the rules and expel them if necessary.

A book for complaints is at the disposal of the campers. The complaints will only be taken into consideration if they are signed, dated, formulated in distinct terms as much as possible and if concerning recent events.

 

  

 

ATTENTION :

To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to remind you of the following poinds :

- Children and teenagrs are always under the responsability of their parents

- The selling, carrying and drinking alcohol is forbidden under the age of 18

- The management reserve the right to penalize or evict any family whose children cause domage or disturbance of the peace day or night.
